Dark Chocolate-Avocado Mousse

If you want a healthy sweet treat, this is it! This silky Chocolate-Avocado Mousse is a dessert with benefits and is here for you! It's incredibly smooth, creamy, delicious and simple to make! Plus, you only need 6 ingredients to make this decadent dessert!
For this recipe I use either almond or coconut milk, but you can use any milk you like.
The appeal of this healthy chocolate treat is, that you can be creative with the garnish ingredients and mix up fruits, nuts, powdered cocoa, coconut flakes etc.
I prefer this dark chocolate-avocado mousse with honey, but you can also use maple syrup, agave syrup or similar.

2 ripe avocados
200 gr. dark chocolate
1/2 cup non diary milk
1/2 cup honey
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
1 handful pistachios
Fill a small saucepan with some water (approximately 1/4 of the saucepan) and bring to a simmer.
Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in a heatproof bowl. Set the bowl over the water and stir occasionally, until melted and smooth. Set aside.
Remove pits and skin from avocados and place in a high speed blender or a food processor. Add all the other ingredients, including the melted chocolate and blend for approximately 2 minutes or until smooth.
If the mixture is too thick, add 1-2 tbsp. milk and blend, until desired consistency is reached.
Scoop the mixture into bowls and garnish with pistachios.
Serve immediately or refrigerate it and enjoy it later cold.
