This Garlic Mushroom Skillet is made in no time and is insanely addictive! This is a side dish you can serve with anything and everyone will rave about at your dinners!

This mushroom recipe is also perfect as an appetizer or snack! You can serve these golden brown, savoury mushrooms on toasted or tiger bread. So filling and delicious!
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
600 gr mushrooms, brushed & halved
2 medium onions
4 cloves of garlic
30 ml extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. butter
100 ml dry white wine
1 vegetable cube
1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1 tbsp. fresh chopped basil
In a skillet over medium to high heat, heat the olive oil and saute onion until softened.
Add halved mushrooms, season with salt and pepper and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are golden and crispy on the edges.
Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Pour dry white wine, add vegetable cube and cook on a medium heat, until mushrooms begin to glaze.
Add butter and stir until homogenized.
Add red chili flakes, chopped basil and parsley and cook for a further 30 seconds.
Serve and enjoy!!
