Cucumber Salad

Light and fresh Greek-Style Cucumber Salad is a fantastic alternative of Tzatziki to enjoy during summertime. A deliciously creamy yet refreshing salad made with a combination of sliced cucumbers, dill, Greek yoghurt and garlic. This recipe is so easy to make and is perfect to enjoy it as a side dish or inclusion to a BBQ or family gathering.



Prep Time: 7 minutes

Servings: 2-4


2 cucumbers, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

100 gr. Greek yoghurt

2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

1 clove of garlic, minced

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar

1 tbsp. dill, chopped

1 tsp. oregano

1 tsp. chili flakes




  • Wash cucumber cut in slices. Peal onion, cut into half and then cut in slices.

  • Place cucumber and onion in a large bowl and set aside.

  • In a smaller mixing bowl add Greek yoghurt, dill, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, chili flakes, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, pepper and mix until well combined.

  • Pour yoghurt mixture over sliced cucumbers and onions and toss to evenly coat everything.

  • Serve and enjoy!
