Avocado Pasta

For a quick and unbelievably delicious pasta dish, choose this super creamy and garlicky Avocado Pasta, that will be on your table in 15 minutes. It doesn't get much easier than that!

This recipe is similar to pesto, but this one is a blended sauce loaded with fresh ingredients and requires no cooking. It's rich, creamy, garlicky and full of avocado flavor.

Just cook your pasta, add all ingredients in a food processor and blend until you have a creamy sauce.

Add avocado sauce over the cooked pasta. Toss and enjoy!



Servings: 2

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 7 minutes


250 gr. spaghetti

1 ripe avocado

2-3 cloves garlic

4-5 fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish

1/2 cup plant-based milk

juice from 1/2 lemon

2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil



2 tbsp. pinenuts, plus more for garnish

Serve with parmesan cheese


  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to the package instructions. Drain, but save 1/2 cup pasta water for the avocado sauce.

  • While cooking the pasta, Add all sauce ingredients in a food processor and pulse for a minute, until smooth and creamy.

  • Add avocado sauce to the pasta and toss gently, until covered.

  • Serve immediately, garnish with pinenuts, fresh basil and grated parmesan if desired.
